Notification regarding fuel surcharge
Dear Agents,
Air Greenland introduces a fuel surcharge to meet the rising costs of fuel on the world market.
The average liter price in CPH that is forward priced for 2023 is now tripled.
This unforeseen cost is not covered in the current prices.
This means that Air Greenland will charge DKK370 OW fuel surcharge for journeys between Copenhagen, Billund and destinations in Greenland and vice versa for journey after 1. January 2023.
In addition, this means if there is an outbound journey in 2022 and an inbound journey in 2023 there will be a surcharge for the inbound journey.
The fuel surcharge applies to all booking classes.
The new fuel surcharge will be shown in the ticket receipt as an YR tax.
The fuel surcharge amount will follow the developments of the world market and will not be a permanent surcharge.
The surcharge will expire when fuel prices are at 2021 level.
