AACC (Amadeus Automatic Customer Contact) is an Amadeus product that provides Air Greenland the opportunity to notify passengers directly about any changes, made by Air Greenland, in their bookings, either via email or via text message (SMS).
An automatic notification will be sent in any of these occasions:
- Time changes (same flight)
- Rebooking’s (different flight)
- Cancellations
Notifications for travelers departing within 24 hours will be informed via SMS, while notifications for travelers departing later than 24 hours will be informed via email.
In order to send the information directly to the passenger 2 APN elements are required in the PNR. An APN element is a contact element made specific to AACC. It will still be possible to insert other AP elements in the PNR.
The required APN elements should be inserted as the following:
Email: APN/e+email@domain.com/language preference/passenger reference
Mobile: APN/m+299555123/language reference/passenger reference
It is mandatory to insert the passenger reference and the countrycode for the mobilephones (299 is the countrycode in the above example). It is also possible to include any of the below language preferences, but if it is not included the notification will be sent in english automatically: KL: Greenlandic DA: Danish EN: English
If the APN elements are not included in the PNR, the PNR will be put on queue to the agent with the following remarks about the missing elements:
SSR OTHS 1A PLS INSERT APN CONTACT ELEMENT WITH PSGR
SSR OTHS 1A PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL IN CORRECT FORMAT
The PNR will be put on queue to the agent when a change has been made by Air Greenland and the agent can check if a notification has been sent to the passenger with the following input: RHRN
Please always check if the email and mobile number is correct in order to make sure that the passenger will be informed automatically, also before removing the PNR from queue after the changes has been made.
