Military base/defence area PITUFFIK / THULE AIR BASE

Flights to/from Pituffik / Thule Air Base operate as scheduled flights and as a settlement traffic.

All passengers who want to buy a ticket or make a reservation to or via Pituffik are required to have a permit (Entry approval) issued by the Ministry (see below) as well as a valid photo ID.                           

The permit must be obtained/renewed for each visit.

Note: The permit must be shown when the tickets are issued.

All passengers or transit passengers to Pituffik / Thule Air Base have to get a permit to enter the defence area.

Danish citizens travelling privately and resident foreigners with a danish residence permit must obtain the permit themselves.

Special rules apply for foreigners who purchase tickets to the defence area.
