Valid ID will be required at check in and passenger must also be able to show valid ID on request at any time.
Passenger names in pnr and on ticket must match the names of the passengers as shown in their proof of identification.
Failure to provide accurate name information can result in problems with security and control authorities and passenger processing.
Foreign nationals
A valid passport must be shown at check in.
VISA:
There are no restrictions on entering Greenland for foreigners, who are not required to have a VISA to visit Denmark.
If in doubt foreigners should inquire whether they will need a visa for travels to Greenland. In the affirmative, passengers must make sure to file an application in due time. There are different rules for residents of Schengen-countries and when traveling via Copenhagen passengers may need a visa for Denmark as well.

Resident in Greenland
If you're resident in Greenland, you can use your:
- Passport
- Driver's licence
- Civil registration number certificate (CPR number)
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of residence
- Seamans Discharge book
as identification. You can print your certificate of residence via the www.sullissivik.gl
Resident in Denmark
Valid forms of identification are:
- Driver's licence
- Medical card or
- Passport
Residents from the rest of the world
Valid forms of identification are:
- Passport
- Government issued ID-card (for citizens from Finland and Sweden)
- Driver's license (for citizens from the Nordic Countries)
- Travel document for refugees or stateless persons
