Nuuk JUNE 24, 2026
Dear agents,
Air Greenland is pleased to present summer schedule for 2027.
The most significant development in the 2027 flight schedule is that Air Greenland will operate four new main hubs—four international airports that will significantly improve and streamline connectivity for both tourists and the Greenlandic population, making it considerably easier to link domestic travel with international departures.
- In South Greenland, Qaqortoq International Airport is open, providing the opportunity for daily flights to Copenhagen via Nuuk, as well as connections with Icelandair via Keflavík (KEF) to Copenhagen (CPH).
- In the capital region, Nuuk, same-day connections are available from all of Greenland. Notably, passengers are gathered throughout South and East Greenland.
- In Central Greenland, Kangerlussuaq, offers same-day connections from the capital, as well as from Central and North Greenland.
- In North Greenland, Ilulissat provides same-day connections from the capital, as well as from Central and North Greenland.
A number of factors have been considered, and extensive analyses have been carried out for each destination. On this basis, it has been decided that the route between Nuuk and Billund will be discontinued as of October 2026 and will therefore not continue into the 2027 summer schedule.
Aalborg-Nuuk, on the other hand, has shown significant increase of demand and as a result there will be two weekly departures between Nuuk and Aalborg in 2027.
Copenhagen-Kangerlussuaq will continue with one weekly flight with 1 additional flight in some periods in regard to bulk flights.
Schedule from Marts 27th 2027 and onwards are open for sales, 330-1 days to date, on Amadeus.
Air Greenland is looking forward to welcoming all passengers onboard in 2027.
